Your Questions, Answered

Everything you need to know about working together.

No. I’m a certified life coach, not a therapist. Coaching is forward-focused; we work with patterns, beliefs, and direction, not diagnosis or trauma processing. If it becomes clear that therapy would serve you better, I’ll say so and help you find the right support. Many women do both at the same time, and they can complement each other well.

Coaching focuses on your current patterns and future goals, while therapy focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, often by working with past experiences and trauma.

I’m a certified life coach, not a therapist, and I don’t diagnose or treat mental health issues. If it seems like therapy would serve you better, I can help you find a therapist or share resources to support you in that process. Whether we do coaching alongside therapy is decided on a case-by-case basis. Some people benefit from both at the same time, and others need a season of therapy on its own before coaching is appropriate.

Yes. I keep what you share private and don’t discuss it with others, except in rare situations where there is an immediate safety concern (for example, if you or someone else is in imminent danger). In that case, I may need to reach out for additional support. I’ll talk with you about this whenever possible.

No. You might be in the middle of deconstructing. You might have left years ago. You might still attend but feel increasingly out of alignment. I meet you wherever you are in that process. There are no prerequisites and no timelines.

I designed the Faith Deconstruction 101 course especially for those new to the deconstruction process. It includes much of what I’ve learned over twenty years of processing and deconstructing. I wrote it because I never wanted anyone to feel as alone and confused as I felt.

My practice is centered on women, especially creative, sensitive, often neurodivergent women as well as non-binary and gender-expansive folks who resonate with that space.
