If Direction sounds like what you need, the first step is a free 30-minute consultation.

    Is Direction right for you?

If you recognize yourself here, the first step is a free 30-minute conversation. We’ll talk about where you are, what you’re carrying, and whether Direction is the right fit.

    Direction is for you if:

You left (or are leaving) a belief system that told you who to be — and you’re having a hard time distinguishing between your voice and the voice of the programming.

You know something needs to change, but every time you try to name it, you hear the old voices telling you what you should want.

Your body has been overridden for so long that you’ve lost access to what it’s telling you.

You’re grieving things you can’t fully name — community, identity, certainty, belonging.

You’re ready to stop performing someone else’s version of your life and start building your own direction.

This Isn’t Your Typical Life Purpose Coaching

Most direction-finding programs start with a worksheet. List your values. Rank your priorities. Write a purpose statement. And that works fine IF you actually have access to what you want. But if you were raised in a system that told you what to want, taught you to override your body, and shamed you for having desires of your own, a worksheet isn’t going to get you there. Your head will produce answers, but your body will know they’re not yours.

Direction starts differently. We begin with your nervous system, not your goals. Every session opens with a body check-in, and every exercise runs through the body before it hits the page. We explicitly name the conditioning: the religious programming, purity culture, family roles, cultural “shoulds,” and we separate what was given to you from what’s actually yours. This isn’t a single “life purpose.” It’s a living compass that changes with your seasons.

I built this package because I’ve lived it. I know what it’s like to have your direction assigned to you by a church, a family system, and a culture that rewarded performance over honesty. And I know what it takes to find what’s underneath. This work is body-first, forward-focused, and built specifically for women who are done living someone else’s version of their life.

Body first. Then mind. Then plan.

    Your Five Sessions

Each session builds on the last. Here’s where we’re going.

    Step 1

    Ground

Who you are right now. Where your body is. What it already knows. We start here.

    Step 2

    Inherited vs. Owned

We name the conditioning: religious programming, purity culture, family roles, and cultural “shoulds.” We identify what you were handed and what’s you.

    Step 3

    What Lights You Up

We listen to when your body says, “Yes! I love this!” and we allow this wisdom to guide us. We discover what makes you expand, what makes you contract, and what Creativity has been trying to tell you.

    Step 4

    The Direction Map

We put it all together into a living framework for all the different rooms of your life: your relationships, your work, your creativity, your health, your sense of the sacred. We also name the value conflicts and relationships that can shift when you start to change.

    Step 5

    Writing Forward

You write your Direction Statements, living and evolving points of reference that keep you pointed in the direction of your most honest self. This isn’t a single, fixed “life purpose” but a compass you can use when life asks you to choose. We close with the question: what’s sacred to you now?

You’ll also receive a downloadable PDF guide before each session to help you prepare.

    What You’ll Walk Away With

Your personalized Direction Map — a living framework for the rooms of your life, with your values, your priorities, and your capacity for this season built in

Direction Statements for each area of your life — multiple, evolving, season-aware. Not a single “life purpose” but a compass that grows with you

Core values you’ve felt in your body — you’ll learn to hear and value when your body says yes and no. You’ll begin to separate values that are yours and values that were assigned to you

A compass for decision-making — what to say yes to, what to release, and how to navigate the moments when your values conflict

An understanding of your conditioning — how religious programming, purity culture, and family systems shaped what you thought you wanted. And clarity on what you actually want

Tools for what comes next — for the grief, the relationship shifts, the spiritual questions, and the creative impulses that surface when you start living from your own center

With her help, I created a plan that made me feel like, ‘OK, I might actually be able to do this thing called life.’

What Coaching Is (and Isn't) Here

    Coaching with me is:

    • Supportive, collaborative, and focused on your real life
    • About going at your pace and working with your nervous system, not against it
    • A space to generate possibilities and experiment with new ways forward
    • A place where you don't have to be polished or have it all figured out—we can sort through the jumble together
    • A space where naming what you want isn’t selfish—it’s the whole point

    Coaching with me is not:

    • Emergency or crisis support
    • Me telling you what you “should” do or making decisions for you
    • Mental health therapy or trauma processing

Coaching can often sit alongside therapy beautifully. If it becomes clear that therapy would serve you better for what you’re bringing, I’ll say so gently and offer ideas for next steps.

    Frequently Asked Questions

We’ll find a regular cadence that works for you — most clients meet weekly or biweekly. You’ll have 3 months of scheduling flexibility, so there’s room for life to happen without losing your spot.

Life happens. Individual sessions can be rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice. If you need a longer pause, we’ll work something out — the goal is for this to feel supportive, not stressful.

Yes. I keep what you share private and don’t discuss it with others, except in rare situations where there is an immediate safety concern (for example, if you or someone else is in imminent danger). In that case, I may need to reach out for additional support. I’ll talk with you about this whenever possible.

No. You might be in the middle of deconstructing. You might have left years ago. You might still attend but feel increasingly out of alignment. Direction meets you wherever you are in that process. There’s no prerequisite and no timeline.

That’s not a problem. In fact, that’s the starting point for this work. Most women who come to Direction have spent years being told what to want. “I don’t know” is often the most honest and courageous thing you can say. We’ll work with it.

No. I’m a certified life coach, not a therapist. Direction is forward-focused; we work with patterns, beliefs, and direction, not diagnosis or trauma processing. If it becomes clear that therapy would serve you better, I’ll say so and help you find the right support. Many women do both at the same time, and they can complement each other well.

Welcome to this journey, you are not alone. If you’re newer to this work, Capacity is the gentlest place to begin: three sessions to steady your nervous system and find your footing. From there, Direction helps you separate what you were handed from what you actually want, and Practice helps you build a lasting creative life. If you’re not sure, we’ll find the right starting point together in your free consultation.

    Already know where you’re headed?

If you’ve already done the inner work of separating what’s yours from what was given to you and you’re ready to build a creative life from that foundation, Practice might be your next step: twelve sessions of creative coaching designed for women who are ready to create from the center of who they are.
